Ingredients

  • Pork rinds - 150 grams
  • Ground pork - 250 grams
  • Marinara sauce - 200 ml
  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground pork and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  4. Add the marinara sauce and cream cheese to the skillet, stirring until the cream cheese is melted and well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, crush the pork rinds into coarse pieces.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the crushed pork rinds on the bottom.
  7. Pour the pork and sauce mixture over the pork rinds, followed by the remaining crushed pork rinds.
  8. Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with fresh basil.
