  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Oregano (dried) - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 150 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 100 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil (for garnish) - a few leaves

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  4. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned on all sides.
  5. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
