Ingredients

  • Pork chops - 2 pieces (about 200g each)
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons (low sodium)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, olive oil, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Place the pork chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated pork chops to the skillet.
  4. Cook the pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  6. While the pork chops are resting, pour the leftover marinade into the skillet and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
  7. Serve the pork chops drizzled with the honey garlic sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
