Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 400 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Burger buns - 2 pieces
  • Lettuce leaves - 2
  • Tomato, sliced - 1 medium
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced - 2 slices
  • Mustard - 1 tablespoon
  • Ketchup - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, approximately 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F).
  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and let it melt for about 1 minute.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the pork patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and a drizzle of mustard and ketchup.
  7. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
