- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Wooden skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes)
Steps
- Cut the pork belly into 2.5 cm cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, sea salt, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
- Pour the marinade over the pork belly cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for best flavor).
- Preheat your grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated pork belly cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers, packing them tightly but leaving a little space between each piece.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the pork belly is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve hot.
