Ingredients

  • Ground pork - 500g
  • Pork BBQ sauce (sugar-free) - 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Coleslaw mix (cabbage and carrots) - 150g
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 2 tablespoons of the BBQ sauce. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Form the pork mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C (160°F).
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the coleslaw by mixing the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and paprika in a separate bowl. Toss until everything is well combined.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, brush the remaining BBQ sauce on top of each patty and let it cook for an additional minute.
  6. To assemble, place each pork patty in a large romaine lettuce leaf, top with a generous amount of coleslaw, and fold the lettuce around the filling to create a wrap.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Keto Pork BBQ Burger!
