Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Pineapple - 200 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
  • Red onion - 1 small, cut into wedges
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Skewers - 4 (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the pork cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the pork is marinating, prepare the vegetables and pineapple.
  4. After marinating, thread the pork, pineapple, red bell pepper, and red onion onto the skewers, alternating between ingredients.
  5. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  6. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  7. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
