Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Greek yogurt - 200 grams
  • Cucumber - 1 medium, grated
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Dill - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place the whole wheat pita bread on a baking sheet and warm in the oven for about 5-7 minutes until soft and slightly golden.
  3. While the pita is warming, prepare the tzatziki by combining the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  5. Once the pita is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a minute.
  6. Cut the pita into wedges and serve alongside the tzatziki dip.
