  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Onion Powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cayenne Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Black Pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Whole Wheat Bread - 4 slices
  • Lettuce Leaves - 4 pieces (optional)
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced (optional)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the grated sharp cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, chopped pimentos, and mayonnaise.
  2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to the mixture, and stir until well combined.
  3. Lay out two slices of whole wheat bread on a clean surface.
  4. Spread a generous amount of the pimento cheese mixture on each slice of bread.
  5. If desired, add lettuce leaves and sliced tomato on top of the cheese mixture.
  6. Top with the remaining slices of bread to form sandwiches.
  7. Cut the sandwiches in half and serve immediately.
