- Yellow onion, thinly sliced - 1 medium
- Green bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1/2 medium
- Provolone cheese, sliced - 4 slices
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, sautéing until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced ribeye steak to the skillet, seasoning with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Cook the steak for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until it is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
- Reduce the heat to low, layering the provolone cheese over the steak mixture, and cover the skillet to allow the cheese to melt, about 2-3 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice the gluten-free slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
- Spoon the steak and cheese mixture onto the bottom halves of the buns, then top with the other halves.
- Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, until the buns are warm and slightly crispy.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve immediately.
