Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 250 grams, thinly sliced
- Gluten-free hoagie rolls - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Green bell pepper - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Provolone cheese - 100 grams, sliced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and green bell pepper, sautéing until they are soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.
- In the same skillet, push the vegetables to the side and add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the thinly sliced beef sirloin, seasoning with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Once the beef is cooked, mix it with the sautéed onions and peppers. Top the mixture with provolone cheese slices, allowing them to melt for about 2 minutes.
- While the cheese is melting, toast the gluten-free hoagie rolls in a separate toaster or oven until warm and slightly crispy.
- Assemble the sandwiches by filling the toasted rolls with the beef and cheese mixture. Serve immediately.
