Ingredients
- Pheasant breast - 300 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Coconut flour - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
- Romaine lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Avocado - 1 small, sliced
- Red onion - 1/4 medium, thinly sliced
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground pheasant breast, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, coconut flour, and egg. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into two patties, making sure they are evenly shaped.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F).
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing the romaine leaves and laying them on a plate.
- Once cooked, place each pheasant patty on a lettuce leaf and top with slices of tomato, avocado, and red onion.
