Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts - 300 grams
  • 1/2 cup basil pesto - 120 grams
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese - 120 grams
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese - 60 grams
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese - 25 grams
  • 1 clove garlic - minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil - 15 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, basil pesto, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  4. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Spread the pesto cream cheese mixture evenly over each chicken breast.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
