Ingredients

  • Dried beef or bison - 100 grams
  • Almonds - 50 grams
  • Dried cranberries (no sugar added) - 30 grams
  • Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Chia seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Sea salt - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a food processor, pulse the dried beef or bison until finely shredded.
  2. Add the almonds and pulse until they are coarsely chopped.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded meat, chopped almonds, dried cranberries, chia seeds, and sea salt.
  4. Melt the coconut oil in a microwave or small saucepan, then pour it over the mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
  5. Line a small baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture firmly into the bottom to create an even layer.
  6. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to set.
  7. Once set, remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized squares or bars.
