Ingredients
- Dried beef or bison - 100 grams
- Almonds - 50 grams
- Dried cranberries (no sugar added) - 30 grams
- Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons
- Chia seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Sea salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a food processor, pulse the dried beef or bison until finely shredded.
- Add the almonds and pulse until they are coarsely chopped.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded meat, chopped almonds, dried cranberries, chia seeds, and sea salt.
- Melt the coconut oil in a microwave or small saucepan, then pour it over the mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
- Line a small baking dish with parchment paper and press the mixture firmly into the bottom to create an even layer.
- Refrigerate the mixture for at least 1 hour to set.
- Once set, remove from the dish and cut into bite-sized squares or bars.
