Ingredients
- Fresh peaches - 4 medium (about 500g)
- Honey - 2 tablespoons (30ml)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon (5ml)
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon (2g)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 60°C (140°F).
- Wash, peel, and pit the peaches, then chop them into small pieces.
- In a blender, combine the chopped peaches, honey, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Blend until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the peach puree onto it, spreading it evenly into a thin layer.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and let it dry for about 6-8 hours, or until the leather is firm and no longer sticky.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Cut into strips or desired shapes.
- Store the peach leather in an airtight container at room temperature or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
