  • Egg whites - 2 large
  • Granulated sugar - 100 grams
  • Cornstarch - 1 teaspoon
  • White vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Heavy cream - 100 milliliters
  • Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Mixed fresh fruits (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries) - 150 grams
  • Mint leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 120 degrees Celsius (250 degrees Fahrenheit) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a clean, dry bowl, beat the egg whites with an electric mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add the granulated sugar, one tablespoon at a time, while continuing to beat on high speed until the meringue is glossy and stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the cornstarch and white vinegar using a spatula until just combined.
  5. Spoon the meringue onto the prepared baking tray, shaping it into a circle with a slight well in the center.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until the meringue is dry and can be easily lifted from the parchment paper. Turn off the oven and let it cool completely inside for about 30 minutes.
  7. While the meringue cools, whip the heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  8. Once the meringue is cool, carefully place it on a serving plate, fill the center with whipped cream, and top with mixed fresh fruits.
  9. Garnish with mint leaves and serve immediately.
