- rye bread - 4 slices
- pastrami - 200 grams, sliced
- yellow mustard - 2 tablespoons
- dill pickles - 2 whole, sliced
- Swiss cheese - 2 slices
- olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Spread 1 tablespoon of olive oil on the outer sides of each slice of rye bread.
- On the inside of two slices, spread 1 tablespoon of yellow mustard each.
- Layer 100 grams of sliced pastrami on each of the mustard-spread slices.
- Place a slice of Swiss cheese on top of the pastrami on each sandwich.
- Top each sandwich with another slice of rye bread, mustard side down.
- Place the sandwiches in the preheated skillet and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, cut in half, and serve with sliced dill pickles on the side.
