  • Vodka - 60 ml
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh basil (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - for serving

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped shallots and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
