  • Canned tuna (in olive oil or water) - 1 can (about 150 grams drained)
  • Heavy cream - 120 ml
  • Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams (optional)

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the drained tuna to the skillet, breaking it up gently with a fork. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy tuna sauce. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. If desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
