- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons

- Black pepper - to taste
- Red pepper flakes - a pinch (optional)
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant but not browned.
- Add the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften.
- Stir in the drained tuna and capers, cooking for another 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve a small cup of pasta water.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.
- Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using. Remove from heat.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
