  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced onion to the skillet and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until the onion becomes soft and caramelized.
