  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved
  • Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving) - 30 grams, grated

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  5. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook until they begin to soften, about 3-4 minutes.
