- Black olives, pitted and sliced - 100 grams
- Cherry tomatoes, halved - 150 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Parmesan cheese (optional, for serving) - 30 grams
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced green and black olives to the skillet, and cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

- Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the olive mixture.
- Toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley.
