Ingredients
- Pasta (spaghetti or linguine) - 200 grams
- Lobster meat (cooked, chopped) - 200 grams
- Onion (medium, thinly sliced) - 1
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Butter (unsalted) - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Parsley (fresh, chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until caramelized and golden brown, about 10-12 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in the chopped lobster meat and cook for 3-4 minutes, just until heated through. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the reserved pasta water and lemon juice. Toss everything together to combine, allowing the pasta to absorb the flavors.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
