  • Spaghetti - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan cheese - 50 grams, grated
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  4. Once the pasta is done, reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta.
  5. Add the drained pasta to the skillet with the garlic, along with the reserved pasta water.
  6. Toss the pasta in the skillet to coat it with the garlic oil, then add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  7. Continue to toss until the cheese is melted and the pasta is evenly coated.
  8. Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.
