- Parmesan cheese (optional) - 30 grams, grated
- Water - 2 liters
Steps
- Bring 2 liters of salted water to a boil in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 10-12 minutes.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, salt, and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 5 minutes.
