- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary, then stir in the tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.
- Simmer the beef mixture for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- In a large pot, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture and mix well.
- Remove from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed.
- Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
