  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce - 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried basil - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Drain excess fat from the skillet if necessary, then stir in the tomato sauce, salt, black pepper, oregano, and basil.
  6. Simmer the beef mixture for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. In a large pot, combine the cooked pasta with the beef mixture and mix well.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded mozzarella and half of the grated Parmesan until the cheese is melted and evenly distributed.
  9. Serve immediately, garnished with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
