- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated

Steps
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain the pasta.
- In the same pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add the asparagus pieces to the pot and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
