  • Canned crushed tomatoes - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried basil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion, carrot, and celery, sautéing until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and add the oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
