Ingredients

  • Radishes - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon

  • Black pepper - ¼ teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - ½ teaspoon
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 tablespoons, grated (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Wash the radishes thoroughly and trim off the tops and tails, then cut them in half.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the halved radishes with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Toss until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the radishes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. If using, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the radishes in the last 5 minutes of roasting, and return to the oven until the cheese is melted and golden.
