Ingredients

  • Cream cheese - 100 grams
  • Dark chocolate (for coating) - 100 grams
  • White chocolate (optional for drizzling) - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and rolling with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with the cream cheese until well blended and a dough forms.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the formed truffles in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to firm up.
  5. While the truffles are chilling, melt the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted dark chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and return them to the baking sheet.
  7. If desired, melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the coated truffles for decoration.
  8. Allow the truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate them for about 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
