- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon (1g)
- Milk (or plant-based milk) - 1/2 cup (120ml)
- Sliced banana or berries - 1/2 cup (75g) (optional)
- Chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts) - 2 tablespoons (15g) (optional)
Steps
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Once boiling, add the rolled oats and salt to the water. Stir well.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and let the oats simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the oats are creamy and have absorbed most of the water.
- Stir in the honey and cinnamon, mixing well until fully incorporated.
