Ingredients

  • Rolled oats - 1 cup
  • Protein powder (vanilla or chocolate) - 1/2 cup
  • Banana (mashed) - 1 medium
  • Peanut butter - 2 tablespoons
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Dark chocolate chips - 1/4 cup (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed banana, peanut butter, honey, and egg until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
