- Rolled oats - 1 cup
- Protein powder (vanilla or chocolate) - 1/2 cup
- Banana (mashed) - 1 medium
- Peanut butter - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Egg - 1 large
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Dark chocolate chips - 1/4 cup (optional)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, protein powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed banana, peanut butter, honey, and egg until well combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
