  • Littleneck clams - 200 grams, scrubbed
  • Mussels - 200 grams, scrubbed
  • Red potatoes - 200 grams, quartered
  • Sweet corn - 1 ear, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • Andouille sausage - 150 grams, sliced
  • Old Bay seasoning - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon - 1, halved
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the quartered red potatoes.
  2. Cook the potatoes for about 15 minutes until they are fork-tender.
  3. Add the sliced Andouille sausage to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Next, add the sweet corn pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the minced garlic and Old Bay seasoning, mixing well.
  6. Add the shrimp, clams, and mussels to the pot. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the seafood and season with black pepper.
  7. Cover the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the clams and mussels have opened and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  8. Remove from heat and discard any unopened clams or mussels.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
