- Large shrimp - 200 grams, peeled and deveined
- Littleneck clams - 200 grams, scrubbed
- Mussels - 200 grams, scrubbed
- Red potatoes - 200 grams, quartered
- Sweet corn - 1 ear, cut into 2-inch pieces
- Andouille sausage - 150 grams, sliced
- Old Bay seasoning - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, halved
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- In a large pot, bring 2 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and the quartered red potatoes.
- Cook the potatoes for about 15 minutes until they are fork-tender.
- Add the sliced Andouille sausage to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Next, add the sweet corn pieces and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and Old Bay seasoning, mixing well.
- Add the shrimp, clams, and mussels to the pot. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over the seafood and season with black pepper.
- Cover the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes or until the clams and mussels have opened and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Remove from heat and discard any unopened clams or mussels.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
