- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
- Slider buns - 4 small
- Cheddar cheese - 2 slices, halved
- Lettuce leaves - 2 leaves, torn
- Tomato - 1 small, sliced
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and chopped mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the mushrooms are browned and any moisture has evaporated.
- Stir in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and fresh thyme. Cook for another 2 minutes until everything is well combined.
- While the mushroom mixture cooks, lightly toast the slider buns in a separate pan or oven until golden brown.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a generous spoonful of the mushroom mixture on the bottom half of each bun, topping with a half slice of cheddar cheese, a piece of lettuce, and a slice of tomato.
