  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon (1g)
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon (2g)
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon (15g)
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (3g)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (8g)
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Peel the carrots and cut them into thin sticks, about 1/4 inch wide.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, honey, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Spread the spiced carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through cooking.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine.
