- Paprika - 1 teaspoon (2g)
- Honey - 1 tablespoon (15g)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (3g)
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (1g)
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (8g)
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon (15ml)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Peel the carrots and cut them into thin sticks, about 1/4 inch wide.
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, honey, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the carrot sticks to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Spread the spiced carrots in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the carrots are tender and slightly caramelized, stirring halfway through cooking.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Toss to combine.
