Ingredients

  • dark chocolate - 100 grams
  • unsalted butter - 50 grams
  • granulated sugar - 50 grams
  • eggs - 2 large
  • vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • gluten-free all-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
  • salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and grease two ramekins with butter.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined and slightly frothy.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and stir until fully incorporated.
  5. Gently fold in the gluten-free flour and a pinch of salt until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared ramekins and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, until the edges are set but the center is still soft.
  8. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 1 minute before carefully inverting onto plates. Serve immediately, optionally with a scoop of ice cream or fresh berries.
