Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 200 grams
  • Gluten-free cream of mushroom soup - 240 ml
  • Frozen mixed vegetables - 150 grams
  • Tater tots (gluten-free) - 200 grams
  • Onion - 1 small, diced
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
  4. Stir in the gluten-free cream of mushroom soup and frozen mixed vegetables. Season with salt and black pepper, mixing until well combined.
  5. Transfer the beef and vegetable mixture to a small baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Top with the tater tots, arranging them in a single layer over the mixture.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
