Ingredients
- Pork ribs - 500 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Gluten-free BBQ sauce - 1/4 cup
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to create a dry rub.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the pork ribs, ensuring they are well coated.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the ribs for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Place the seared ribs on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil.
- In another bowl, mix honey, apple cider vinegar, and gluten-free BBQ sauce until well combined.
- Brush the sauce mixture generously over the ribs, saving some for later.
- Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, remove the foil and brush the ribs with the remaining sauce. Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
- Remove the ribs from the oven, let them rest for 5 minutes, then slice and serve garnished with fresh parsley.
