  • Pork ribs - 1 kg
  • Paprika - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Onion powder - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried thyme - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix together paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, oregano, and thyme to create the dry rub.
  3. Pat the pork ribs dry with paper towels, then rub them with olive oil.
  4. Generously apply the dry rub all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating.
  5. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  7. After 3 hours, remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap them from the foil.
  8. Increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F) and return the ribs to the oven for an additional 30 minutes to achieve a crispy exterior.
  9. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
