Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20) - 400 grams
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sugar-free ketchup - 30 grams
  • Mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Sliced pickles - 30 grams
  • Avocado - 1 medium, sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into two equal patties.
  4. Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the sugar-free ketchup and mustard together to create a glaze.
  6. After 20 minutes, remove the patties from the oven and brush the glaze over the top of each patty.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  8. Once done, let the patties rest for a few minutes before assembling the burgers.
  9. To serve, place each patty in a large lettuce leaf, top with sliced pickles and avocado, and wrap it up.
