Ingredients
- Ground beef (80/20) - 400 grams
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar-free ketchup - 30 grams
- Mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, shredded
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Sliced pickles - 30 grams
- Avocado - 1 medium, sliced
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 20 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the sugar-free ketchup and mustard together to create a glaze.
- After 20 minutes, remove the patties from the oven and brush the glaze over the top of each patty.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the patties and return them to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- Once done, let the patties rest for a few minutes before assembling the burgers.
- To serve, place each patty in a large lettuce leaf, top with sliced pickles and avocado, and wrap it up.
