Ingredients

  • Ground beef (80/20) - 250 grams
  • Gluten-free breadcrumbs - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Onion - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Carrot - 50 grams, grated
  • Celery - 50 grams, finely chopped
  • Parsley - 10 grams, chopped
  • Ketchup - 30 grams
  • Worcestershire sauce - 10 grams
  • Salt - 5 grams
  • Black pepper - 2 grams
  • Olive oil - 10 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot, chopped celery, parsley, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the remaining ketchup with olive oil and brush it over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 70°C (160°F).
  6. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
