  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Marinara sauce (sugar-free) - 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese (shredded) - 150 grams
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) - 30 grams
  • Fresh basil (for garnish) - a few leaves

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and place them in a greased baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the marinara sauce with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Pour the marinara and cheese mixture over the meatballs, ensuring they are well coated.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and the grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
  7. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
