- Parmesan cheese (grated) - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce (sugar-free) - 100 grams
- Fresh basil leaves - 10 grams
- Fresh mozzarella (sliced) - 100 grams
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Chop the cauliflower into florets and steam until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain well and let cool.
- In a food processor, pulse the cooked cauliflower until it resembles rice. Squeeze out excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cauliflower, 100 grams shredded mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until a dough forms.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower dough into a round pizza shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface.
- Top with slices of fresh mozzarella and sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella on top.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil leaves, drizzle with olive oil, and slice. Serve hot.
