Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100 grams
  • Unsalted butter - 50 grams, melted
  • Maple syrup - 60 ml
  • Brown sugar - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Pecans - 70 grams, roughly chopped
  • Water - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour and salt. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Press the almond flour mixture into the bottom and sides of a small tart pan (approximately 6 inches in diameter) to form the crust.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, brown sugar, egg, vanilla extract, and water until smooth.
