- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Maple syrup - 3 tablespoons
- Dijon mustard - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
- In a mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the glaze.
- Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Brush the tofu slices with the maple mustard glaze on both sides.
- Place the tofu on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, basting with more glaze halfway through, until grill marks appear and the tofu is heated through.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
