  • Diced bell pepper - 50 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Apple cider vinegar - 15 ml
  • Ground black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, sautéing for about 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained navy beans, sautéed vegetables, maple syrup, barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, smoked paprika, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly coated.
