Ingredients

  • Maine lobster tails - 2 (about 450g total)
  • Unsalted butter - 60g
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Sea salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Using kitchen shears, cut the lobster tails lengthwise down the center to expose the meat, and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in the chopped parsley, lemon juice, paprika, sea salt, and black pepper into the melted butter mixture.
  5. Brush the lobster meat generously with the herb butter mixture, reserving some for basting.
  6. Drizzle olive oil over the lobster tails and season with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  7. Bake the lobster in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and cooked through.
  8. Baste the lobster with the remaining herb butter halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley and lemon wedges if desired.
