- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
- Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Almond flour - 30 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce (no sugar added) - 100 grams
- Pepperoni slices - 50 grams
- Bell pepper, sliced - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Wash and chop the cauliflower into small florets and steam them until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Let the steamed cauliflower cool, then use a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out excess moisture.
- In a bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until it forms a dough-like consistency.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower mixture into a pizza shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
- Add the pepperoni slices and bell pepper on top of the sauce.
- Drizzle olive oil over the toppings for added flavor and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
