Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 200 grams
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Parmesan cheese, grated - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Italian seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce (no sugar added) - 100 grams
  • Pepperoni slices - 50 grams
  • Bell pepper, sliced - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. Wash and chop the cauliflower into small florets and steam them until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Let the steamed cauliflower cool, then use a clean kitchen towel to squeeze out excess moisture.
  4. In a bowl, combine the drained cauliflower, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until it forms a dough-like consistency.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the cauliflower mixture into a pizza shape, about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
  7. Remove the crust from the oven and spread the tomato sauce evenly over the top.
  8. Add the pepperoni slices and bell pepper on top of the sauce.
  9. Drizzle olive oil over the toppings for added flavor and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes until the cheese is bubbly.
  10. Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
