Ingredients
- Almond flour - 120 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 120 grams
- Cream cheese - 30 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until fully melted and combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder together.
- Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more almond flour.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape by rolling it into a ball and then forming a hole in the center.
- Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
