Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 120 grams
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese - 120 grams
  • Cream cheese - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until fully melted and combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder together.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture and the egg to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more almond flour.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal portions and shape each portion into a bagel shape by rolling it into a ball and then forming a hole in the center.
  6. Place the bagels on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
